Online Meeting Format

These online gatherings give us the opportunity to:

🧘🏼‍♂️Build, deepen and strengthen our meditation practices with other mindful individuals, around the world!

🧘🏼‍♀️Connect our energy with loving kindness!

🧘🏼‍♂️See, hear, learn from, and support one another in the ups and downs of life!

Please be mindful of:

The duration is generally about 60 minutes, but there is no requirement to stay any length of time. Sometimes we go as long as 90 minutes if the discussion warrants, but again, you are welcome to participate for any length of time.

Your sound and video should be turned on but your microphone should be muted. Please mute it upon check-in if it isn’t already.

Are you unsure/shy about joining in online? If you want, you can turn your video off and simply listen in. This is a personal choice and it’s completely okay 👍🏼

After a short introduction and connection, we listen to the meditation together. This will be played on the screen for everyone simultaneously.

Following the meditation, we like to have a discussion …an opportunity for anyone to say hi, where they are from and a few words about the meditation, the connection or any other feeling or emotion they wish to express.

Facial gestures, hand signals and body movements are most welcome! This is your means of communication. Nodding with the head is an obvious one but others are:

–hugging your arms around yourself as a gesture of hugs to the other participants.

-joining your hands together with the heart symbol.

-a hand over the heart to indicate love or a heartfelt connection.

-folded hands as a gesture of gratitude or as a means of saying, ‘Namaste’.

Feel free to bring along a small object or touchstone …an item that means something to you that can be used to feel the connection of our community.
